MedhaGen AI Signs Strategic MOU with Malla Reddy University!
Hyderabad: Malla Reddy University hosted the Allied & Healthcare Industry Summit on Friday, bringing together leaders from academia, healthcare, and industry to discuss the future of healthcare innovation.
The event was attended by the university’s Chairman Chamakura Malla Reddy, Vice Chairman Keerthi Reddy, along with CEOs and representatives from several multispecialty hospitals, healthcare units, and diagnostic laboratories across India.
On the sidelines of the summit, a key development aimed at strengthening India’s digital healthcare ecosystem was announced. Leading artificial intelligence firm MedhaGen AI entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad.
The collaboration aims to integrate advanced artificial intelligence technologies into healthcare systems and promote the wider adoption of AI-driven solutions in clinical practice. The initiative also seeks to make cutting-edge medical technologies more accessible and improve the quality of patient care through data-driven healthcare approaches.
The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of Malla Reddy University Chairman and former minister Chamakura Malla Reddy and Vice Chairman Preethi Reddy, along with prominent healthcare experts, researchers, and medical professionals.
The agreement was formally signed by Dr. Bharath Kumar Kakkireni, Chairman of KBK Group and Chief Executive Officer of MedhaGen AI, and Dr. S. Aparna Reddy, Dean of the School of Allied and Health Care Sciences at Malla Reddy University.
Under the partnership, MedhaGen AI will collaborate with the university to build data-driven “Intelligent Health Ecosystems.” By leveraging Malla Reddy University’s research infrastructure, the initiative will integrate Electronic Health Records (EHR) with omics data to support precision medicine and personalized treatment strategies for patients.
Another key component of the collaboration involves the deployment of MedhaGen’s Clinical Decision Support (CDS) systems. These AI-powered tools are designed to assist healthcare professionals in making faster and more accurate diagnoses, particularly in areas such as medical imaging and preventive health analytics.
The MoU also focuses on strengthening skill development in the healthcare sector. Through hands-on training programs, students and medical professionals will gain exposure to AI-driven healthcare technologies. The initiative aims to prepare the next generation of “AI-ready” doctors, paramedics, and healthcare specialists.
As part of the collaboration, the institutions will also create opportunities for healthcare startups by providing a platform for incubation and real-world clinical testing of AI-based solutions. This ecosystem is expected to accelerate innovation and support emerging health-tech entrepreneurs.

He noted that AI-powered imaging and digital health records are set to play a crucial role in delivering affordable and precise healthcare in the coming years
Looking Ahead, the collaboration aims to transform the university’s affiliated healthcare facilities into model “Digital Hospitals.” These institutions will demonstrate how technology can improve healthcare delivery through predictive analytics, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care.
By identifying health risks earlier, reducing administrative burdens on medical staff, and ensuring that patient data supports better treatment decisions, the initiative is expected to serve as a blueprint for digital healthcare transformation across India.
